Propaganda Company
The Propaganda Company Profile
The Propaganda Company is an ensemble of artists working and experimenting with performance and modern technology to express current issues and contemporary society.

Using a variety of different media and technology in our performances we aim to transform the language of theatre into a sensory landscape that is bold, innovative and contemporary.
  1. Equality - Theatre is accessible to all, regardless of background.
  2. Responsibility - All artists earn the same wage, research and development operate transparently, all are invited to follow our artistic progress and offer personal feedback through our various means: our responsibility is our audience.
  3. Ethics - Our work is for our audiences only, not profit. We have a responsibility to resist the ethics of commercialisation.
  4. Validity - We strive to make work that is meaningful and communicates with our audience. We believe that theatre has the ability to genuinely touch peoples lives and change them.

The Propaganda Company are currently associate artists at The Point Theatre in Eastleigh.

They really enjoyed the political angle which they do not get exposed to very often. – The Vyne Community School

The workshop was excellently executed and it really engaged my Y10 pupils. – Sherfield School.

It was one of the best in school workshops by an outside agency I have ever seen and since I worked at GYPT for six years doing precisely the same work, and seeing the work of other companies, I have a lot of basis for comparison. – The Vyne Community School.

Quotes taken from workshops led by the company in collaboration with Stephen Hall, Wet Picnic & Anvil Arts in 2010.
